Chris Chaferwrites: “This species is restricted to the Yucatan Peninsula region that covers south-eastern Mexico, northern Belize and north-eastern Guatemala. In Tikal they have become relatively tame around the camping area and groups of up to 20 strut around the place as if they own it.”
